Welcome
We are the Particle Astrophysics Group at Brown University. Our group consists of faculty, post docs, graduate students and undergraduates conducting experimental work in direct dark matter detection.
Our group is involved in a research collaboration called LUX, a 350 kg liquid xenon experiment almost 1 mile underground at the Sanford Underground Laboratory in South Dakota. This experiment aims to be the first to discover Weakly Interacting Massive Particle (WIMP) dark matter.
